      最简单最基础的方式：换词

      同学们别只盯着B/H兄弟了，还有很多表转折的词：

      yet/ whereas/ while/ whilst

      Nevertheless,
      Nonetheless,

      其中yet/ while/ whereas/ whilst不会单独带一个句子，前后会有一个并列的句子。

      This measure of right and left has not changed in hundreds of years, whereas specific policies have.
      We have changed our lives in astounding ways since civilization began, and yet commerce has remained a constant.
      剩下的那些词经常用在句首，跟B/H兄弟一样用逗号隔开，和主句相互独立。

      1. 换成让步从句

      可以把“但是”换成“虽然”。表达“虽然”意思的有很多连词或者词组，同学们在运用时要注意细节问题，比如：despite/ in spite of/ notwithstanding直接加名词或名词词组，其他后面都是直接加句子。

      Notwithstanding some major financial problems, the school has had a successful year.
      He failed the test in spite of all his studying.
      Therefore, even if the police cannot stop the drugs, they can try to follow the money.
      Despite the fact that around one billion people worldwide suffer from chronic hunger, the problem often seems to be forgotten.
      需要注意的是，“虽然”和“但是”不会同时出现在一个句子中，有了although就不用加but 了，写作的时候别忽略。

      2. 写否定句

      在写好的句子后面直接加一个否定句。比如：
      But there is no evidence to support this, says the Children's Food Campaign, which opposes junk food marketing.
      There was no scientific justification for these bans on either health or environmental grounds.
      They are all inventive and attractive, though none make for instant easy listening, or playing.
      Without experiments on living animals, hardly can scientists find effective treatment to some diseases like cancer and ADIS.
      Never should animals be experimented upon whatever the potential gain for humanity.
      或者加上一些频率较小地描述，体现前文说地东西其实不够常见。
      In fact, the policy has sometimes functioned effectively, while in most other cases, the method seemed to be less reliable.
      Occasionally, the students could follow the instruction, but for most lessons, they pay very little attention to the teacher.  

      3. 作比较

      在句内进行比较，以此体现出前后之间是截然相反的。
      Contrary to previous reports, the Highland project, unlike London's Hospital, does not have Microsoft millionaire Paul Allen's financial backing.
      This is not a simple party concern but rather a matter of urgent national interest.
      But rather than keeping all the profits to himself, he has been sharing them with his fans.
      In terms of this bill, it is important to think about what the bill is not, as opposed to what it is.

      4. 写呈上启下句

      可以更加精妙地概括上文内容，又非常自然地引出下文内容。
      Money worries aside, the investment in space research could be rewarding for the sustainability of the human race in the long term.
      That is not to say that the genetically modified food is flawless. Chances are that overreliance on the GM food might cause physical problems.
      Despite the medical value of animal experiment, there has been a catalogue of failure, which its advocators gloss over.

      5. 写成别人观点或者“所谓的”事实

      还有一种方法，可以把要被怼的对象，写成 some people 的想法，或者一些 it is true that 勉强承认的事实。因为，如果是我们真心全力支持的内容，一般直接说出来，而不会借别人的口来表达。
      The claims made by those in favour of nuclear power do not stand up to close examination. It is often said, for example, that nuclear power does not damage the environment. While it is true that greenhouse gases are not produced, mining for uranium causes real damage to the environment. …

      比如上面的这个段落，虽然说核能不破坏环境，不产生温室气体，但是，核心的内容其实在最后。前面的都是“铺垫”。既然这些优点要被踩在脚下，不如说成别人的一些想法，或者加上一些“通常来说“这样的套句。
