Method 1：熟悉原始材料

Rhetorical analysis 有三个基本方面：ethos(可信度)，pathos(情感分析)，logos(逻辑)。
Tips
Ethos:Apply appropriate language, making yourself sound fair and undoubted;(公正的语言)
Appeal audience’s attraction;
Focus on the grammar and syntax.（语法）
Pathos:Convince the audience by the measures of image and video, or other literal expressions;
Use meaningful language, vivid examples or stories of emotional event.（生动的例子、情感事件）
Logos:Use facts and reasons in order to persuade the audience;（事实和理由）
Use historical and literal analogies, and construct logical arguments.（类比、逻辑论证）

根据各个文本的特异性还可以增加diction(措辞)，syntax(句法)，metaphor(隐喻)，simile(明喻)，hyperbole(夸张)，personalization(拟人)等分析策略。最重要的一点就是在文中寻找，缕清各种分析手法。
Method 3：细致整理文本
大概遵循hook-brief intro. of the author-brief summary of the paper-thesis statement of your own essay-body1(topic sentence-quotes-analysis)-body2-body3-conclusion (restatement of thesis- your final thought)…(真香！)
